Alcohol-free Halloween drinks: Green Zero, Virgin Paloma, Bitter Zero and Nachtschicht – four mocktails from our menu, quickly mixed up for 31 October.
Four mocktails for 31 October
Green Zero
- Lime & Mint
- three slices of cucumber
- Basil
- Crushed ice
- A pinch of salt

Virgin Paloma
- Pink Grapefruit
- salt rim
- Lime eighth
- 2 dashes of non-alcoholic bitters
- lots of ice

Bitter Zero
- Citrus
- 4 cl non-alcoholic bitter aperitif
- orange slice
- Ice right to the brim

Night shift – adults only
- Energy – Blackcurrant & Pomegranate
- 2 cl cold espresso
- Ice cubes
- orange zest
Please note: Energy – Blackcurrant & Pomegranate contains 32 mg of caffeine per 100 ml and is not recommended for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women; the espresso adds further caffeine.
For the whole party: prepare rather than mix
None of these drinks are shaken or muddled – which is why they can be scaled up for groups. A 24-cup tray makes 24 drinks. This is how you can get the evening off to a flying start:
- Chill the cans to 4 °C beforehand.
- Cut the limes and oranges first thing in the morning; store the herbs in a damp cloth in the fridge.
- Only pour the sparkling varieties into the glass just before serving; never mix them in advance.

Black, green, pink: the cans for the evening
Energy – Blackcurrant & Pomegranate come in black, Lime & Mint in green, Pink Grapefruit in pink and Citrus in yellow. All the cans feature the Grim Reaper on the sleeve. If you place these cans on the table, you’ll hardly need any other decorations.
Halloween has long been a shopping occasion in Germany: the German Retail Association expected turnover of around 520 million euros for 2025, 63 per cent more than in 2019; the main items purchased are sweets, food and household goods. Anyone wanting to avoid sugar in their drinks can opt for a can with no sugar and no sweeteners.
