Non-alcoholic cocktails and mocktails
Non-alcoholic cocktails and mocktails in a can: Green Zero, Bitter Zero, Virgin Paloma, Espresso Tonic and Punch – with ingredients and sources.
We make non-alcoholic cocktails using the same can as everything else: a variety with no sugar and no sweetener, plus one or two other ingredients and ice. Here are all the mocktails from our menu — each with its own recipe, ingredients and sources.
What are mocktails?
A mocktail is the non-alcoholic equivalent of a well-known cocktail. The word is a portmanteau of ‘cocktail’ and the English verb ‘to mock’, meaning ‘to imitate’. On our menu, this means that a non-alcoholic drink is not just a consolation prize, but a drink in its own right.

- Green Zero: Lime & Mint, three slices of cucumber, basil, crushed ice, a pinch of salt — non-alcoholic mojito: Green Zero
- Bitter Zero: Citrus, 4 cl non-alcoholic bitter aperitif, a slice of orange, filled to the brim with ice — Non-alcoholic aperitif: Bitter Zero
- Virgin Paloma: Pink Grapefruit, salt rim, a wedge of lime, 2 dashes of non-alcoholic bitters, plenty of ice — Non-alcoholic Halloween drinks
- Night Shift: Energy – Blackcurrant & Pomegranate, 2 cl cold espresso, ice cubes, orange zest — Espresso Tonic and non-alcoholic coffee drinks
- Electrolyte: Still Water, a pinch of sea salt, the juice of half a lemon, and, if desired, 1 cl of maple syrup — Making your own electrolytes
Here are two drinks to suit the season and the latest trends: Non-alcoholic punch for the winter and Dirty Soda, the trend from Utah.
Which non-alcoholic drinks can be made with just two ingredients?
Bitter Zero requires two ingredients: a can of Citrus and 4 cl of non-alcoholic bitter aperitif, served with ice and a slice of orange. Green Zero and Virgin Paloma also start with a whole can; everything else is just garnish. The recipes on our menu are serving suggestions, not set-in-stone rules.
How much sugar is there in the jar?
Our cans contain 0 g of sugar and no sweeteners. Whether the finished drink is sugar-free depends on the other ingredients: maple syrup, honey, juice or a bitter aperitif all contain their own sugar — the nutritional information table tells you how much. You can find out how to spot sugar on the label under ‘Reading the ingredients list’.
